Please take the time to read and understand the following information.
Our aim is to establish safe working practices to protect both the
patients and the dental team. Please abide by these simple rules and
help us to help you.

Keep your hands away from your eyes, mouth, and nose
CORONAVIRUS
If you have symptoms of Coronavirus do not attend the practice.
What are the symptoms of Coronavirus
•
A high temperature
•
A new continuous cough
•
Loss or change of smell and/or taste (Anosmia)
•
Loss of appetite
•
Sputum production
•
Aches and pains
•
Sore throat
•
Diarrhoea
•
Nausea/vomiting
•
Headache
•
A new rash or discolouration of the fingers or toes.
Do not attend the practice if you have been told to self isolate for any
reason or travelled back from a country on the red list.
Our dental team is doing all they can to ensure you receive the
treatment you require in the safest way. We are extremely busy and you
may have to wait longer than usual for a suitable appointment.
PLEASE BRING A LIST OF YOUR LATEST MEDICATIONS TO YOUR
APPOINTMENT SO WE CAN UPDATE OUR RECORDS.
1.
Be on time for your appointment.
2.
You will be asked to complete some forms online prior to your
appointment. This will help us save time and resources when you
attend your appointment.
3.
Arrive in time to complete and update your medical history form. If
you are late, we will not be able to see you. We are operating to a
strict schedule.
4.
Do not enter if you are feeling unwell or are a household contact of
someone with Covid-19.
5.
Please report to reception and be mindful of social distancing if it is
busy and give people space.
6.
Some of our patients are extremely vulnerable and will continue to
wear masks. Please be respectful.
7.
Our front desk team will be working behind a shield.
8.
Use our hand rub at the hand hygiene station by the front door –
please carry out good hand hygiene techniques according to the
poster.
Payment
Payments can be taken on the day or by BACS.
Communication
Communication We are trying to limit the amount of paper
communication we use. Email is a safe and easy way to be able to
contact you. Please make sure we have an up-to-date email address for
you. You can contact us with this information via info@ruthindental.com.
Please add our email address to your contact list to prevent emails
going into your spam. You may be asked to complete and send
information to us prior to your appointment please do so. If you do not
have access to or regularly use an email address, paper copies are
available.
